Why we started

The Promise Plan was born out of real conversations within my own family. As my parents grew older, one thing was made clear—they never wanted to live without a pet. But a shared worry always surfaced: what would happen to their pet if the unexpected struck?
Our family dog, Ziggy (pictured), is the heart of our home. I couldn’t imagine not having a plan for him if the unexpected happened.
Pets aren’t just companions—they’re family. Beyond comfort and love, studies show they bring owners connection, purpose and even health benefits. But when life takes an unexpected turn, that bond can quickly turn into worry. The Promise Plan was created to replace that worry with preparedness—giving families greater peace of mind and helping ensure pets receive the care they deserve.
