Step 2

We Reach Out

  • Choose your check-in days, times, and method of text or call.
  • Reply to confirm you've received your check-in; it takes seconds.
  • If you don't respond, we follow up twice within your chosen window of time before activating your plan.
Step 3

Plan Activation

  • We reach out to your contacts in your chosen order. Once someone confirms they'll step in for your pet, we guide them based on your instructions and share your pet's full care plan.
  • Everything your contact needs to access care for your pet — home entry details, legal contacts, and more — is shared with them.

Your grace period is the window of time we wait between each outreach attempt. Choose 30, 45, or 60 minutes based on your lifestyle. This means we never rush to the next step — if you missed the first message, you have time to respond before we try again. You can adjust your grace period any time from your account settings.
