The Promise Plan is a digital communication and coordination system with automatic, contactless check-ins on your chosen schedule. If you don’t respond to a check-in and two subsequent follow-ups, your plan activates. We begin outreach to your chosen contacts in your set order until someone confirms care for your pet. Once care is confirmed, we guide your contact step by step through your pet’s plan—helping ensure your instructions are followed as written. Your instructions, pet care plan and information are securely documented so your plan is ready when it's needed.

2. Daily Monitoring

Our system runs scheduled check-ins by text or call. If you don’t respond, we send two follow-ups before beginning your plan’s escalation protocol—so your plan triggers exactly when it should.

3. Plan Activation

Missed check-ins activate your plan. We reach out to your contacts in order until someone confirms they’ll step in. If no one responds, we follow your plan instructions for next steps.

4. Coordinated Care

Once care is confirmed, we guide your chosen contact with your pet’s care details and share essential information to help ensure your plan continues smoothly and your instructions are followed accurately.

How do you know if something happens to me?

We run automatic, contactless check-ins at your chosen cadence (minimum 3 times per week, up to once a day). If you don’t respond, we follow-up twice. After failed outreach, your plan becomes activated.

What triggers my plan activation?

A missed check-in followed by no response to our two subsequent follow-ups. Activation follows your instructions. We reach out to your contacts in the order you set.

Can I pause my check-ins while I’m away or on vacation?

Yes. Notify us by text or email to pause check-ins for specific dates. They’ll automatically resume once your pause ends.

What if I move or my pet’s health changes?

You can update your plan anytime—your address, contacts, preferences, pet health/medication, routine, additional pets, and more. We also re-verify details regularly to prevent gaps.

Can I include more than one pet on my plan?

Yes. You can include multiple pets under one account. Each pet has its own care file and instructions, but they share the same coordination and activation structure. For households with several pets, we apply a discounted rate for additional profiles. You can add a pet to your account at any time.

What happens if my pet passes away?

You can cancel your plan or choose to transfer your plan to another pet. If you cancel mid-cycle, coverage remains active through the end of the paid period.

How does payment work for my plan?

Plans are billed quarterly or annually through secure autopay. You can change or update your payment method anytime.

What happens if I cancel my plan?

You can cancel at any time with no penalties or hidden fees. Once canceled, all plan data remains securely stored for 30 days in case you choose to reactivate. If you cancel mid-cycle, coverage remains active through the end of the paid period.
