How much does The Promise Plan cost?

The Promise Plan costs $25 per month, $75 per quarter (3 months), or $250 per year. The annual plan saves you $50 (equivalent to 2 months free). All plans include a one-time enrollment fee of $50 and cover one pet. Additional pets can be added for $5 per month each.

What is the enrollment fee?

There is a one-time enrollment fee of $50 that covers account setup and plan preparation. This is separate from your ongoing subscription and is paid only once when you first enroll.

How do you know if something happens to me?

The Promise Plan runs automatic, contactless check-ins at your chosen frequency — a minimum of 3 times per week, up to once a day. If you don't respond, two follow-ups are sent. After failed outreach on all three attempts, your plan becomes activated.

What triggers my plan activation?

A missed check-in followed by no response to two subsequent follow-ups triggers plan activation. Once activated, the system reaches out to your emergency contacts in the order you set, following your stored instructions.

Can I pause my check-ins while I'm away or on vacation?

Yes. Notify The Promise Plan by text or email to pause check-ins for specific dates. Check-ins automatically resume once your pause period ends. There is no charge to pause your check-ins.

What if I move or my pet's health changes?

You can update your plan at any time at no additional cost, including your address, contacts, preferences, pet health and medication information, routine, and additional pets. The Promise Plan also sends reminders to re-verify details regularly to prevent gaps in your plan.

Can I include more than one pet on my plan?

Yes. Multiple pets can be included under one account. Each pet gets its own care file and detailed instructions, but they share the same coordination and activation structure. Additional pets can be added at any time for just $5 per month each.

What happens if my pet passes away?

You can cancel your plan or transfer it to another pet. If you cancel mid-cycle, coverage remains active through the end of the paid period. We're sorry for your loss and will process changes promptly.

How does payment work for my plan?

Plans are billed monthly, quarterly, or annually through secure autopay. You can change or update your payment method at any time. We accept all major credit and debit cards.

What happens if I cancel my plan?

You can cancel at any time with no penalties or hidden fees. Once canceled, all plan data remains securely stored for 30 days in case you choose to reactivate. If you cancel mid-cycle, coverage remains active through the end of the paid period, but no refund is provided for unused time.
